Fastbraces® in Salt Lake City
Straighten your teeth in half the time!
Dr. Hamblin uses Fastbraces® as a more affordable and faster solution to teeth straightening. Fastbraces is suitable for any age group, and designed to straighten teeth in as little as 3-12 months. It’s an excellent solution for teenagers who require more intensive straightening than can be accomplished with Invisalign®, but does not take as long as traditional braces.
Adults can also benefit from Fastbraces technology, and typically only require half the treatment time to obtain a beautiful smile compared to traditional braces.
What are the advantages of Fastbraces?
Faster treatment times
While conventional braces can take up to two years to straighten your teeth, Fastbraces moves both tooth root and crown at the same time, thus reducing the amount of treatment time needed. Any single treatment usually lasts around 3-12 months.
Clinically proven as safe and effective
Fastbraces has been clinically proven with over 20 years of successful patient cases. Dr. Hamblin can effectively straighten your teeth with great predictability and produce fantastic results for your smile.
More affordable teeth straightening treatment
Fastbraces can potentially be a fraction of the cost compared to traditional braces.
Reduced discomfort and sensitivity
Clinical research has shown that there is less sensitivity and discomfort with the Fastbraces bracket system when compared to conventional braces.
Less adjustment appointments
Not only are Fastbraces treatment times shorter, but the amount of appointments needed for each adjustment with Dr. Hamblin is reduced in number as well. You only need to visit our office once every six weeks so that Dr. Hamblin can check your progress and make sure that everything is going as planned.
How Does Fastbraces Work?
When teeth erupt from the gums at an irregular angle, the root is affected as well. Conventional braces attempt to straighten the tooth root and tooth crown separately. During the first year of treatment, the braces will move the root into the desired position, and the second year is to straighten the crowns to align with the roots. Fastbraces efficiently moves both the tooth root and crown simultaneously for shorter total treatment time.
Fastbraces features a patented triangular bracket, which allows for more room between the braces, and greater flexibility.
Using the same patented technology as regular Fastbraces, this new product uses clear ceramic braces instead of metal for more aesthetic and less noticeable teeth straightening.
